Let the vehicles come to you… Set up a SMS alert!

Apart from advertising, do you also search for and buy vehicles advertised on Auto Mart for your dealership?

Good news! Instead of constantly searching for the same types of cars on our site, create a SMS alert that will save you a lot of time and effort!

What is a SMS alert?

A SMS alert notifies you on your mobile phone when a new vehicle is listed in a specific category on our site. In other words, you will receive a SMS whenever a new ad is posted on Auto Mart that matches your alert.

Each SMS costs R1.00 and up to 10 SMS’s will be sent to you per day, after which you will receive an SMS stating that you’ve reached your daily limit for Auto Mart alerts. To continue receiving alerts, you can reply to this SMS with “MORE” or wait until the following day to receive fresh alerts. SMS alerts can also be terminated at any time by replying with “STOP” when you receive an alert on your mobile phone.

What are the benefits of SMS alerts?
Set up a SMS alert
✓ Search criteria are only defined once
✓ Receive alerts instantly as ads are placed
✓ Have different alerts running simultaneously

What info will be contained in a SMS alert?

✓ Ad title and price of the vehicle
✓ Contact details of the advertiser
✓ A link to the ad for internet-enabled phones

How do I set up a SMS alert?

  1. Search for the vehicle you looking for, e.g. an Audi A4 2009 model. To narrow down your search, click on “Advanced Search” and add more criteria.
  2. On the search results page, scroll down to the bottom of the page where you will see a grey bar where you can enter your phone number to receive SMS alerts specifically for new ads for the vehicle you searched for.
  3. A confirmation SMS will be sent to the phone number you have provided us with. Reply with “YES” to this message to complete your subscription and start receiving alerts.

Hope this is useful! Subscribe to SMS alerts today, and make your business run more efficiently!

      Hi Clemence,

If you have subscribed to receive alerts, then you can remove the alert by clicking on ‘edit alert’ inside the email and then clicking on ‘remove alert”.
