- Beware of remote jamming
This trick is becoming more and more prevalent at shopping malls and residential areas across South Africa. Remote jamming occurs when thieves jam the signal when you try and lock your car with your remote by pushing a button on their remote and interfering with the signal.
To avoid becoming a victim to remote jamming, it is imperative that you physically check that your car door is locked after locking with your remote.
