What is Movember?

Movember is a leading global charity tackling prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention.

The initiative started in 2003 and have since received over R15 million donations and raised over R800 million in funds. Movember uses the funding to impact men’s health both locally and globally. These funds are invested in country- and culture-specific health projects while collaborating on game-changing solutions that address the men’s health crisis on a global scale.

Currently, males account for 75% of all suicides worldwide. By 2030, Movember aims to reduce the rate of male suicides by 25%. They also aim to lighten the load for men with prostate and testicular cancer by providing them with useful tools, advice, and support.
