Previously known as the Johannesburg International Motor Show, the SA Festival of Motoring is not only about the latest vehicles for sale, giving you a chance to test drive around the Kyalami race track, but food, fun and even a little bit of music as well.

What to expect at the South African Festival of Motoring

The SA Festival of Motoring is going to be held at the renowned Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre and it promises to be four fun-filled days. The location is perfect for all you car lovers and motorheads from Johannesburg and Pretoria to come through and experience the car magic.

Taking place from 31 August to 4 September, this car show promises to showcases the best in local and international motoring, new cars, motorcycles for sale and so much more. It is set to feature a mix of entertainment, driving, lifestyle and various motorsport demonstrations. The South African Festival of Motoring brings you over 150 planned exhibitors over 25 000m² outdoor and 5 000m² indoor space. Across this you can expect to see super cars, exotic brands, exhibits on motorsport and performance, technology, accessories, tracking and recovery, communication systems, as well as memorabilia, vintage and model cars, books and much more.

The latest and newest cars

There will be a daily track opportunity, with test drives of new cars offered, alongside an exciting array of parades, stunts and much more. You can choose to test drive a range of vehicles for sale, from each of the many exhibitors and you can also take the adrenaline pumping drives and high performance races in from the main pit area.

You can choose from a range of options, with adult tickets costing R 175.00 each, children from 10 to 18 getting in for R 95.00 and all those under 10, getting in for R10.00. The Opening Hours for the motoring show are from 11:00 – 21:00 from Wednesday to Friday and 09:00 – 21:00 on Saturday and Sunday, and gates close at 20:00.
