Need for Speed has released a game-play trailer for their new racing game Rivals. This trailer is especially remarkable because it shows HD game-play of the PS4 which was launched last week. Developed by Ghost, Criterion Games this Electronic Arts game is enough to get your heart racing for all the right reasons.
Need for Speed Rivals takes place in the mountains of Redview County; a massive, deserted area where a strange war has broken out. It’s Cops vs. Racers. Rivals is reported by two nameless narrators, one for the cops and one for the racers.
Whether you’re playing as a cop or racer, you progress by completing “speed lists” and unlocking new cars. You can choose between doing your assignments on your speed list or just go exploring, causing havoc wherever you can until the cops close in on you.
“Everything you do out in the world earn “speed points” — completing events, pulling off drifts, finding jumps and even just hitting high speeds.”
Need for Speed Rivals has incorporated AllDrive an advanced new online feature that allows racers to flawlessly change from playing alone to playing with friends.
“Players will have to keep one eye on their rear-view mirror as friends will be able to enter and exit races on-the-fly, creating a world where no two events will ever be the same.”
