Top Gear Festival Hits Durban In June

17 Days and counting till the most exciting event in the 2012 automotive calendar hits Durban. That’s right, we are referring to the Top Gear Festival when Clarkson, who has been described as “the most influential man in motoring journalism” (mainly by himself), and his crew will be hitting Durban 16-17 June with an incredible line-up of cars and driving talent.

The line-up includes an action packed show created by the Top Gear production team, presented by Clarkson, Hammond, Captain Slow and the one who is known as The unknown, who was raised by wolves, who’s illegal in 17 US states, and if caught fire would burn for 1000 days, the STIG.

The live stadium show will feature local personalities, international stunt drivers and of course that which makes Top Gear worth the watch… smashes, crashes and customised cars.

For those visiting Top Gear’s street circuit for the first time, expect to be blown away by international stunt and race drivers in the likes of Sabine Schmitz and Jorian Ponomareff just to name a few going up against each other. There will be a number of motoring challenges including high speed races and daring stunts, all on the streets of Durban.

Motor enthusiasts can also enjoy an exhibition crammed with some of the most stylish, rare and expensive cars ever made. View the latest gadgets, car accessories and what’s hot in motoring technology. Other highlights include FMX displays and off road action.

A full time table will be available throughout the day of special appearances and challenges.

Tickets range from R250 to R995 and are available at iTickets . Be sure to book your place now to be part of motoring history!
