An all new A Class is set to impress

The initial Mercedes Benz A Class for sale was not taken too well by the majority of the motoring community. In fact, it was seen as a joke by lot of the major players in this industry. Cars in the same price range, like the Audi A3 or BMW 1 Series were much better looking and gave you more bang for your buck. The new model launched in 2012 completely changed this negative perception and made the Mercedes A Class a force to be reckoned with. This can be seen by the 463 000 units sold across the globe in 2014. One interesting point is that South Africa has the tenth biggest market for this A Class Mercedes.

So what’s different in the new Mercedes Benz 2016 models?

The Look of the Mercedes Benz A Class

When compared to the 2015 Mercedes Benz A Class for sale, there have been some minor tweaks. There are new arrow shaped front bumpers that were taken from the 2011 A-Class concept design. A new diamond grille with optional high performance LED headlights. The guys at Mercedes Benz have redesigned the taillights and incorporated the exhaust outlets into the design of the bumper. You get a choice between three different design and equipment lines and a further choice of three optional Design packages with various attractive materials, colours and new light-alloy Mercedes wheels.

New to the range is the A220d with 7G-Tronic transmission and the A220d 4Matic and the all new ‘Motorsport Edition’ package that will get racing fans’ blood pumping. We will go into the specifics later on in this article.
